Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays tribute to Swami Vivekananda
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tribute to spiritual leader and social reformer Swami Vivekananda on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Modi said Vivekananda is an eternal inspiration for the youth. The spiritual leader was born in 1863 and founded the renowned Ramakrishna Mission.



His work on Vedanta and other aspects of Hindu philosophy are highly valued. "An eternal inspiration for youth, he continues to ignite passion and purpose in young minds. We are committed to fulfilling his vision of a strong and developed India," Modi said on X.


Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary

This day, known as National Youth Day, is dedicated to motivating and supporting the younger generation to work towards the betterment of the society.


The prime minister will attend the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 on Sunday at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi to mark Swami Vivekanand's birth anniversary.

He will interact with 3,000 dynamic young leaders from around India and address the audience.
