PM Modi meets Muslim delegation, sends sacred chadar for Ajmer Sharif
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a delegation of Muslim community members on Thursday and presented them with a "chadar" that will be placed at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah during an event to commemorate the death anniversary of revered Sufi saint Moi...

Sharing pictures of the meeting, the prime minister said on X: "Met a Muslim community delegation. During our interaction, I presented the sacred chadar, which will be placed during the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at the esteemed Ajmer Sharif Dargah."
The delegation of Sufi spiritual leaders invited by the prime minister's office was led by Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif and Chairman of Chishty Foundation, Ajmer Sharif.
Minority affairs minister Smriti Irani was also present during the interaction.
"The prime minister also shared a Letter of Peace to be read during the Urs Mubarak ceremony, emphasising the importance of fostering unity and togetherness... Greetings from the prime minister would be read in the Ahata-e-Noor of Dargah Ajmer Sharif by Haji Syed Salman Chishty," the delegation said in a statement.
