The agreements were unveiled at the International Space Summit in Paris. They include contracts valued at more than 5 million euros between France's Safran Space and India's Dhruva Space. The technologies covered under the contracts will support India's proposed constellation of 52 satellites for space surveillance.
The latest agreements build on more than five decades of cooperation between India and France in the space sector. The partnership has been anchored by collaboration between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and France's space agency CNES.
The inaugural International Space Summit is being organised from September 9-10, bringing together governments, companies, space agencies and scientists from across the world.
