Chairing his third high-level meeting with Secretaries to the Government of India, Modi urged officials to adopt a long-term approach to policymaking and focus on how India should evolve in the years ahead. He also called for greater use of artificial intelligence while stressing that 'human intervention and judgement must remain central.'

The prime minister also urged officials to move beyond working in silos, saying the problem was not just organisational but also one of mindset. He called for a greater sense of belongingness and stronger coordination across departments.
Modi also stressed the importance of informal interactions and team-building among senior officials. He also called for further strengthening India’s defence industry and making it more competitive globally.
