PM Modi announces Rs 1,200 cr for flood-hit Uttarakhand

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday visited Uttarakhand and reviewed the flood situation and the damage caused due to cloudbursts, rains and landslides in affected areas. During the trip, Modi announced financial assistance of ₹1,200 crore for the hill state for relief and rehabilitation efforts.
