Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent leaders have extended their warm wishes to the nation as the ten-day-long celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi kicks off across the country.

In a Twitter post, PM Modi expressed, "Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to the countrymen! Ganpati Bappa Morya!" He also conveyed his blessings to his family members across the nation, hoping that this auspicious festival would bring prosperity to everyone.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also joined in, sending heartfelt greetings to the citizens on this holy occasion. He prayed to 'Vighnaharta- Shri Ganpati Bappa' for their well-being.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde joined the chorus of greetings, extending his wishes to the people on this joyous occasion.

The celebrations have already begun with a morning 'Aarti' at the historic Shri Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, attracting a large gathering of devotees.

In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, a creatively designed pandal, resembling Bharat's successful lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 aircraft, is set to captivate the public.

Kolkata has also witnessed the artistic fervor of Ganesh Utsav committees with elaborately designed pandals featuring unique themes. Notably, a pandal themed on the Chandrayaan-3 mission has been erected at Kali Bari, with a 120-foot-high replica of the PSLV rocket. The hard work of thirty artisans from Kolkata, along with the use of bamboo poles and plywood, made this remarkable structure possible in 45 days.

In Maharashtra's Pune, the Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Sarvajanik Ganpati Trust has created a Ganesh pandal themed on Ayodhya's Ram Temple.

Devotees have also flocked to the Vinaynagar Temple in Tamil Nadu's Dindigul to seek blessings and catch a glimpse of 'Bappa.'

The nation is in high spirits as the celebration of Ganeshotsava unfolds with fervor and devotion, marking the auspicious beginning of this ten-day festival.
