Piyush Goyal says India eyes $4 trillion to $30 trillion by 2047, wants to double Japanese firms
Union Minister Piyush Goyal told JIBCC in Tokyo that India aims to grow from "a $4 trillion economy today to a $30 trillion economy by 2047" and wants to double Japanese firms in India this decade, citing Suzuki's operations and saying "market cap of Suzuki in India is higher than the market cap of the parent company itself" and seeking "1,580 Suzukis being created out of India," according to his remarks.
