Jamsheer Athanikkal identified as passenger involved in incident on Batik Air flight OD231 from Kuala Lumpur to Kochi.
The charged individual is also said to have damaged the windowpane of the exit door.
The person involved has been identified as Jamsheer Athanikkal, who was part of the Batik Air flight OD231 from Kuala Lumpur to Kochi on Wednesday.
As per the FIR, the incident took place between 9.30 pm and 11.05 pm when the flight was airborne.The passenger attempted to open the exit door of the flight, broke its windowpane and threatened his co-passengers.

Officials disclosed that the cabin crew took charge of the situation and restrained the miscreant who was travelling on the flight.
A case has been registered on a complaint lodged by the security in-charge of Batik Air in Kochi and the suspect was arrested as soon as the plane landed at Kochi airport early Thursday morning.
The police disclosed that he has been booked under section 351 (3) of Indian Penal Code for charges of criminal intimidation, under section 11A of the Aircraft Act for violating the safety instructions and section 118(e) of Kerala Police Act for endangering the public safety.
The investigation is still on.
