Parliament Security Breach: What we know so far

In a big security breach inside the Parliament on the anniversary of 2001 Parliament attack, two people jumped into the well of the House when BJP MP Khargen Murmu was speaking in Lok Sabha. As per reports, the intruder has been identified as Sagar Sharma. Pakistan-based terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed terror organisations attacked the Parliament complex on this day in 2001, killing nine people. The incident also comes amid a threat by Khalistan supporter Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who had threatened to launch an attack on Parliament. Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun released a video in which he said he would attack the Indian Parliament on or before December 13.

Here is all we know so far:
* A delegation of opposition leaders will meet the President on the issue.
* Six conspirators were part of the planning on the Parliament attack.
* The plan was hatched on messaging platforms, say police sources.

* The six accused had known each other for the past four years through social media.
* All 6 suspects stayed at the rented house of Vishal Sharma and his wife Rakhi at Sector 7 in Gurugram.
*The accused devised the plan a few days ago and they carried out a recce before coming to Parliament on Wednesday.
* Four people have been arrested in relation to this incident.
* Two intruders were arrested inside the house while two were arrested from outside the Parliament.
* The intrusion happened when BJP MP Khargen Murmu was speaking in the Lok Sabha.
* Two people jumped inside the well of the house.
* The intruder got entry into the Parliament on a visitor pass issued in the name of Mysure BJP MP, Pratap Simmha
* One intruder has been identified as Sagar Sharma.
* The intruder was overpowered and caught by BJP MP Hanuman Beniwal.
* The other intruder is identified as Manorajan.
* Both the intruders were reportedly doing engineering from Mysuru.
* The intruder burst colour bomb and smoke sticks inside the parliament
* He reportedly hid the bombs inside his shoe.
* Separately, a man and a woman were detained for protesting outside the Parliament building carrying cans that emitted a yellowish smoke, Delhi police said.
* The two protestors have been detained by Police in front of Transport Bhawan who were protesting with colour smoke. The incident took place outside the Parliament.
* They are identified as Neelam Kaur (42) and Amol Shinde (25). Police said further probe is underway.

* The protesters were shouting 'Taanashai nhi chalegi'
* One of the intruders is a resident of Latur in Maharashtra
* The information is being vetted by the Maharashtra police and the ATS.
* Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has sought information on the alleged Maharashtra-based intruder from the state police.
* Security has been beefed up in the area following the incident.
