Padma Awards 2021: Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut and other celebrities on list

The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind has started giving the highest civilian awards -the Padma awards. They come in three categories which are Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri.

119 people will be awarded with this honour, this year. The list comprises 7 Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan and 102 Padma Shri Awards. 29 of the awardees are women, 16 Posthumous awardees and 1 transgender awardee.

Celebrities like Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut, Adnan Sami and Ekta Kapoor have also recieved the award.
