The scammers provided him with a fake account statement showing that his internal equity account had reached Rs 39,72,85,929, purportedly as a return on his investments. Encouraged by this false success, the scammers urged him to invest more money.
When the businessman decided not to make further investments, the situation took a turn. Upon attempting to withdraw his funds, he found himself unable to access the money. Always be cautious of unsolicited investment offers, particularly those initiated online. Conduct thorough research on any investment opportunity before committing any funds. Finally, never share personal financial information with unknown individuals or websites.
