Majhi, who is on a five-day tour to the UAE, held investor outreach programmes and roadshows on the third day of his visit, officials said.
The discussions focused on strengthening economic ties between Odisha and the UAE, with particular emphasis on exploring new investment opportunities in the state, they said.

During the discussion, the chief minister highlighted Odisha's "favourable business environment, strong industrial ecosystem and investment potential across key sectors", and invited UAE-based investors to explore opportunities in the state, an official statement said.
Majhi is scheduled to join a roundtable with aluminium downstream industries to showcase Odisha's aluminium ecosystem and investment potential in the field, it said.

A meeting is also scheduled with the Indian Business & Professional Council (IBPC), the release stated.
The Odisha government had on Wednesday signed an MoU for 14 new projects, entailing an investment of around Rs 2.10 lakh crore, during the first day of its investor outreach in the UAE, officials said.
