Noida woman fined Rs 33,000 for attempting dangerous stunts on scooter for viral video

A viral video showing a woman attempting a dangerous stunt on a moving scooter during the 2024 Holi celebrations has sparked controversy and led to a hefty fine. The video, which mimicked the iconic 'Titanic' pose, captured the woman tumbling onto the road when the driver applied the brakes. The Noida Police took swift action in response to the video, issuing a fine of Rs. 33,000 for multiple traffic violations captured in the footage. The incident has raised concerns about the risks associated with performing dangerous stunts for online attention.

In a similar incident in Delhi, two women were filmed engaging in a similar display, also to the song 'Ang Laga De' from the movie 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela.' The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has stated that they will review the footage due to concerns about policy violations.
