A law student fell to death from the seventh floor of the Supreme Towers in Noida's Sector 99 on Saturday, with the police suspecting suicide. The student, identified as Tapas, was a resident of Ghaziabad and had visited a friend's house for a party.

Tapas was an LLB student at a private university in Noida.



The police have registered a case of abetment of suicide against four to five people after preliminary investigation. Officials said some people have also been taken into custody.


The man's body has been sent for a post-mortem. The media cell of the Noida Police Commissionerate said, "the family of the student has been informed and the matter is being "thoroughly investigated from all angles."

"Further legal action will be taken after receiving the complaint from the family," the Noida Police said.
