New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet announced on Monday that Nidhi Chhibber will take additional charge as CEO of Niti Aayog.

Her appointment follows the conclusion of the three-year term of the current CEO, BVR Subrahmanyam, on 24 February 2026. Chhibber will remain in the post until a regular incumbent is appointed or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.

She is currently the Director General of the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO) within Niti Aayog.
