Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will visit the BJP office on Friday to meet BJP national president JP Nadda. This is for the first time that any foreign state would visit the BJP office.

When Rajnath Singh was BJP president, Nepal prime minister Pushpa Kumar Dahal had come to meet him at his residence in 2007.

Deuba will arrive at the BJP office at 5.30 PM in the evening and he will be welcomed by Nadda and other BJP leaders. Several posters welcoming the Nepal PM have come up to the BJP office in the late evening. He will come with leaders of his own party and a meeting between the leaders from Nepal and BJP leaders is also scheduled to take place discussing further cooperation at the party level between the two countries.

“Nadda Ji had written a letter to Nepal PM and had requested his visit to the BJP office during his tour to India,” BJP’s overseas affairs cell head Vijay Chauthaiwale told ET. “The PM has accepted the invitation and will come to the office on the first day of his visit.”

Deuba is on a three-day visit to India. This is his first visit to India after becoming Prime Minister of Nepal.
