New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a second charge sheet in connection with the NEET undergraduate question paper "theft" case.

The charge sheet filed in a Patna court names six people, accusing them of cheating, theft, criminal breach of trust, abetment, causing disappearance of evidence, criminal conspiracy and dishonestly receiving stolen property, the agency said on Friday in a new release.

Substantive charges have been invoked under the Prevention of Corruption Act against two of them: The principal and vice-principal of the Oasis School, who were the Hazaribagh city coordinator and a centre superintendent, respectively, for the medical entrance exam.

Those charged by CBI in its second charge sheet are: Baldev Kumar, Sunny Kumar, Ahsanul Haque (principal, Oasis School, Hazaribagh & city coordinator of Hazaribagh), Imtiyaz Alam (vice-principal, Oasis School and centre superintendent), Jamaluddin (reporter of a newspaper in Hazaribagh) and Aman Kumar Singh.

The agency said its investigation revealed that Haque, in his capacity as the city coordinator, along with Alam conspired with the other accused to steal the question paper. So far, 48 individuals have been arrested in connection with this case.
