Navi Mumbai: Salman Khan bitten by snake at his Panvel farmhouse, out of danger

Khan was immediately rushed to MGM hospital in Kamothe by his bodyguards. The actor was immediately treated by the doctors in the casualty ward and discharged at around 9 am.

The incident occurred at Arpita Farms named after actor Salman Khan's sister. Khan was at the farmhouse for Christmas celebration.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan was bitten by a non-venomous snake at his Panvel farmhouse at Vaje in Panvel taluka early on Sunday. Khan was immediately rushed to MGM hospital in Kamothe by his bodyguards. The actor was immediately treated by the doctors in the casualty ward and discharged at around 9 am.

The incident occurred at Arpita Farms named after actor Salman Khan's sister. Khan was at the farmhouse for Christmas celebration.

Dr Ashish Jha at MGM hospital, Kamothe, informed that actor Salman Khan was brought to the hospital around 3 am for treatment of a snake bite on his hand. The snake had bitten on his hand while he was trying to shoo away the snake that had come inside his farmhouse at around 2 am. Khan was immediately administered an anti-venom injection as a precautionary antidote. The bodyguards of Khan had caught the snake and brought it to the hospital in a container to help in identifying its species. As it was a non-venomous snake, it was a major respite.


Khan was kept under observation for six hours and as he was out of danger, he was discharged from hospital.
