NCB seizes 15K blots of LSD in 'largest-ever' seizure; arrests 6 in darknet-based drugs trafficking bust
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said on Tuesday that it has busted a pan-India drugs trafficking network operating on the dark web with the "largest ever" seizure of 15,000 LSD blots and arrest of six youngsters, including students.

Officials said the network operated in the darknet and used cryptocurrencies for payments, and was spread across Poland, the Netherlands, the US and various states in India.

NCB deputy director general (northern range) Gyaneshwar Singh said this was the largest-ever seizure of LSD blots in a single operation.

Possession of 0.1 gram of LSD, the commercial quantity for the hallucinogenic drug, invites strict legal action under the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, said an NCB official.

While monitoring drug related suspicious activities on social media platforms, a special investigation team (SIT) of NCB tracked down one young man from Goa, a student of a private university in Noida, and apprehended him for his involvement in trafficking of commercial quantities of LSD.
