New Delhi: Amid ongoing Hindi imposition row in Maharashtra and southern states, the Telugu-speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have waded into the debate and sent out a message of inclusivity.

Andhra Pradesh, under N Chandrababu Naidu's TDP, has struck an inclusive chord by assuring investors that it is offering a safe and investment-friendly environment. IT and electronics minister Nara Lokesh has given a call to the industry to "come, and build in Andhra Pradesh" irrespective of any language you speak.

This comes close on the heels of Telangana government's 'Telangana Rising 2047' campaign poster which has a map of Hyderabad with 'welcome' written in at least 34 languages, including in Urdu, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, French, Hebrew, Spanish and Japanese. The poster reads, 'Hyderabad Welcomes Everyone'.
