In a public notice, Commissioner of Police, Aotula T Imchen, IPS said an intensive investigation is underway to identify and apprehend all individuals responsible for planning, facilitating, executing or aiding the terrorist attack.
The reward would be given for information leading to the identification or arrest of the perpetrators and their associates, as well as those involved in planning, financing, harbouring, transporting or otherwise facilitating the offence.
The police also sought information that could help recover explosives, explosive components, weapons, communication devices, vehicles or any other incriminating materials connected to the case. Information regarding any hideouts, safe houses or logistical support networks linked to the offenders has also been sought.
Members of the public possessing any relevant information, however insignificant it may appear, have been requested to contact the police in two numbers, both of which are also available on WhatsApp.
The Commissionerate assured that the identity of informants would be kept strictly confidential and protected in accordance with the law. Information may also be shared anonymously.
It stated that the reward would be released after verification that the information materially contributed to the detection of the case, recovery of evidence or apprehension of the offenders, subject to approval by the competent authority.
The notice said the announcement has been issued in the interest of public safety and national security.
