India's financial capital, which has been experiencing heavy rain for the past couple of days, will likely see heavy rainfall on Wednesday. According to IMD, the weather in Mumbai is expected to remain cloudy, with temperatures between 24°C and 28°C. On Tuesday morning, Mumbai was hit by heavy rainfall, continuing a trend that has persisted for the past few weeks.

The Mumbai Police responded by issuing an advisory urging residents to stay away from coastal areas due to the intense weather conditions. The advisory stressed the importance of leaving homes only when absolutely necessary and recommended taking precautionary measures. For emergencies, residents were directed to call the emergency number 100.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Mumbai, indicating heavy to very heavy rainfall. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) echoed this warning, advising people to avoid unnecessary travel. The alert also applies to Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts in Maharashtra's Konkan region.
