As per IMD, maximum & minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31 deg. C. and 26 deg. C on June 17.
The weather agency has also issued a high wave warning for the coast of Thane, Mumbai Suburban, Mumbai City and Maharashtra from Dongi Point To Belapur. "High waves in the range of 3.5 - 4.0 meters are forecasted during 08:30 hours on 16-06-2025 to 20:30 hours on 17-06-2025. It advised that small vessels not to ply, nearshore recreation activities to be totally suspended, and erosion/wave surges possible," said IMD in its bulletin.
Rains continue in Mumbai:
Mumbai witnessed heavy rainfall in the early hours of Monday, leaving several parts of the city waterlogged. South Mumbai and the western suburbs received most of the rain between 2 am and 5 am. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for June 16.
With daily life already disrupted in several pockets of the city this morning, authorities are on alert, and disaster response teams have been placed on standby. Mumbaikars are once again urged to stay cautious, especially in low-lying area.
