The said circular was issued by the Economic Offences Wing of the city police as the couple makes frequent international trips, an official said.
An official told PTI that a case was registered against the actress and her husband at Juhu police station on August 14 for allegedly duping a businessman of nearly Rs 60 crore in a loan-cum-investment deal.
The couple is facing controversy after being accused of defrauding over Rs 60 crore in a loan-cum-investment deal between 2015 and 2023.
On September 3, Shilpa Shetty announced the closure of her Mumbai restaurant, Bastian Bandra. Without disclosing the reason behind the closure, she shared an emotional note revealing that Thursday would mark its final day of operations.
In a post on X, she wrote, "Your favourite Bastian is moving to Juhu as Bastian Beach Club! So BASTIAN is staying, going nowhere."
Bastian was co-owned by Shilpa Shetty and restaurateur Ranjit Bindra. It first opened its doors in 2016 before being relocated and relaunched in Bandra in 2023.
