The terminal can berth up to five cruise liners at once, ensuring smooth operations even during peak times. It has 72 check-in and immigration counters, a 1,70,000 sq. ft. operational area, and parking space for over 300 vehicles, delivering world-class convenience for passengers.

Architecturally, the MICT reflects its maritime setting. A wavy ceiling draws inspiration from the ocean, while interiors follow a minimalist yet functional design. Beyond serving cruise passengers, the terminal offers a public space for leisure, recreation, and shopping year-round.

The project is a key element of the government’s ‘Cruise Bharat Mission,’ aimed at expanding cruise tourism via ocean, river, and island-based experiences.
