Speaking at an event here to mark the centenary year of the dialogue between Mahatma Gandhi and Sree Narayan Guru, the PM underlined that Indian weapons brought Pakistan to its knees within 22 minutes on May 7. "Sree Narayana Guru wanted a strong India. We have to be ahead in every aspect, economic, social and military capability to ensure the empowerment of India. The country is moving on this path. India is moving towards becoming the world's third largest economy," Modi said.
He enumerated the progress made in the field of education, growth in indigenous technology and other achievements, especially in the last 11 years. "Recently the world has also seen India's might and capability. Operation Sindoor has made India's tough policy against terrorism absolutely clear to the world. We have shown that no place is safe for terrorists who shed the blood of Indians," Modi said amid applause from the audience.
