Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been actively pursuing foreign engagements since June 2024, marking his third term in office with a series of significant diplomatic visits.

Italy: G7 Summit Modi's diplomatic efforts began with his visit to Italy for the G7 Summit on June 13-14, 2024. This event saw global leaders coming together to discuss pressing issues like climate change, economic recovery, and geopolitical stability. Modi's participation underscored India's growing influence in global decision-making.

Russia and Austria In July, PM Modi visited Russia and Austria from July 8-10, 2024, aimed at enhancing bilateral ties and exploring new avenues for cooperation, particularly in energy and defense. His visit came at a time when global tensions were high, and India's balanced approach to international relations was crucial in maintaining global stability.


Poland and Ukraine From August 21-24, 2024, Modi visited Poland and Ukraine, highlighting India's commitment to strengthening relations with Eastern Europe. The trip focused on trade, cultural exchange, and strategic discussions, especially in the context of Ukraine's ongoing recovery efforts amid its war with Russia, which has persisted for the past two years. This visit followed Modi's successful trip to Russia.

Singapore: A New Chapter On September 4, 2024, Modi embarked on a visit to Singapore, following a successful stop in Brunei. This visit, at the invitation of Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between India and Singapore. During his stay, Modi engaged with three generations of Singaporean leadership, signifying a deepening of ties between the two nations.

The Indian community in Singapore greeted him with a warm welcome, and he was hosted at the historic Sri Temasek bungalow for dinner. Modi also took part in cultural activities, including playing the traditional Indian dhol, underscoring the cultural connections between India and Singapore.
