Mob lynches youth Assam’s Jorhat

In a case of mob lynching in Assam, a youth was beaten to death in Upper Assam’s Jorhat.

A senior police officer who does not want to be named told ET, “Around 50 people attacked All Assam Students’ Union (Aasu) leader Animesh Bhuyan, Pranay Datta and journalist Mridusmanta Baruah.”

Mob gathered after these people rushed to assist an accident victim. The police have arrested four people in this connection. “ We are trying to identify the others in the video.”
