Mine mishap in Meghalaya: Two bodies recovered, says CM Conrad K Sangma

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday said that he is awaiting an official confirmation. "We have received a preliminary report that they have spotted two bodies but it is yet to be confirmed in writing,” Sangma told media persons.

Five person were trapped in the mines. Sagma said that rescue team which include Navy is working to rescue the trapped miners.
After over two weeks, the rescue team has spotted two bodies in a mine in East Jaintia hills.

Since May 30 , five miners are trapped.
