Meghalaya coal mine blast: Death toll surges to 27, NDRF search & rescue operations continue
NDRF and Meghalaya Fire & Emergency Services on February 7 recovered two more bodies from Meghalaya coal mine blast incident site. After the recovery of two more bodies, the total death toll in the February 5 coal mine explosion incident has risen to 27. NDRF Commandant HPS Kandari said there might be some other people still trapped inside and search operations are ongoing.
