“We are deeply concerned about the reports emanating from Kabul about an attack on a sacred Gurudwara in that city.”

— ANI (@ANI) 1655527219000The statement came after two consecutive blasts ripped through a busy road near the Gurdwara in Kabul around 7.15 am in Kabul (8.30 am India time).
Security forces have sealed the area for precautionary measures. The blasts sent a column of thick smoke into the sky and triggered panic among residents of the capital city.
However, Ahmad, a security guard of Gurdwara has been killed as confirmed by Afghan local news agencies.
In this whole incident, three Taliban soldiers were wounded while two attackers were cornered by Taliban soldiers.
“Seven to eight people are still believed to be trapped inside but numbers are not confirmed,” said Manjinder Singh Sirsa, BJP
The entire premises of Gurdwara Dashmesh Pita Sahib Ji, Karte Parwan, Kabul is set on fire. Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and the main darbar hall of the gurdwara are feared to be part of the explosion.
Sikh Sangat is believed to be stuck in Gurdwara Karte Parwan in Kabul which was attacked by terrorists this morning.
