Maurya's Goddess Lakshmi comment sparks uproar, Acharya Pramod says '....Aag Mat Lagaiye'

Apni Janta Party president Swami Prasad Maurya has stirred a major controversy by questioning the practical impact of worshipping Goddess Lakshmi on poverty alleviation. He urged people instead to worship the ‘Ghar ki Lakshmi’ for true prosperity. His remarks drew sharp criticism from Acharya Pramod Krishnam, who accused Maurya of insulting Sanatan Dharma and Goddess Lakshmi. Reacting strongly, Krishnam brought Hanuman in the conversation saying abusing Sanatan has become common these days.
