Mathura temple bans shorts, night suit

Night suits and torn jeans are also not permitted inside the temple, according to the authorities. A few months ago, the Radha Damodar temple in this city forbade visitors wearing such attire from entering.

An order prohibiting the wearing of half-pants, bermuda shorts, and mini skirts has been issued by the Mathura, Radharani temple in Barsana.

According to a poster left outside the temple on Thursday, the order will take effect in a week, according to Rasbihari Goswami, a temple representative.

Night suits and torn jeans are also not permitted inside the temple, according to the authorities. A few months ago, the Radha Damodar temple in this city forbade visitors wearing such attire from entering.


A dress code was implemented on June 21 by the management of the Birua Badi temple in the Budaun district, prohibiting the wearing of jeans, t-shirts, night suits, torn jeans, and other similar attire inside the temple.
