‘Masterclass in resilience’: How INS Sudarshini overcame Atlantic challenges to reach Boston

News Description: Indian Navy’s sail training ship INS Sudarshini arrived in Boston to participate in SAIL Boston 2026, joining more than 60 tall ships from over 20 countries as part of the US SAIL250 celebrations, according to India’s Ministry of Defence. Commanding Officer Commander Ravikanth Nandoori described the transatlantic voyage as a “masterclass in resilience,” saying weeks of planning went into the ship’s first Atlantic crossing during the Lokayan 2026 expedition.
