March 31, 2026: Amit Shah sets deadline to end Naxalism in India
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the government aims to eliminate Naxalism in India by March 31, 2026. Speaking at the CISF Raising Day event in Cuttack, Shah praised security forces for their operations across Maoist-affected states and said the government is determined to dismantle the so-called Red Corridor through coordinated security and development measures.
