Mann ki Baat won't be broadcast for the next three months in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the PM announced.
He appealed to first-time voters to exercise their franchise in record numbers.
In addition to this, the PM said, that in Kalahandi, Odisha, goat rearing is becoming a major means of improving the livelihood of the village people as well as their standard of living.
"In Roorkee, Uttarakhand, 'Roter Precision Groups' in collaboration with the Wildlife Institute of India, has developed a drone that is helping in tracking alligators in the Ken River," the PM said.

Tribal families
Tribal families living in Khatkali village near Melghat Tiger Reserve have converted their houses into home stays with the help of the government, the PM said. This is becoming a big source of income for them, he added.
Tiger Population
PM Modi said, "Due to the efforts of the government in the last few years, the number of tigers in the country has increased. The number of tigers in the Tiger Reserve of Chandrapur, Maharashtra has crossed the figure of 250. Here cameras have been installed at the border of the village and the forest. Whenever a tiger comes close to the village local people get an alert on their mobile phones with the help of AI."
The Prime Minister said, "Who would have thought till a few years ago that in our country, women living in villages would also fly drones. But today this is becoming possible. Today, there is so much discussion about Drone Didi in every village, 'Namo Drone Didi, Namo Drone Didi' is on everyone's lips. Everyone is talking about them."
Women Empowerment
The Prime Minister said, "Today, there's no such sector in the country in which women are lagging behind. The areas where women have displayed their leadership abilities are natural farming, water conservation and cleanliness. Our Mother Earth is suffering due to the use of chemicals. Women power of the nation is playing a big role to provide relief from this suffering."
