Manipur continues to be restive with at least two people killed and six injured in different incidents in Manipur.

Six houses in Bishnupur district were set on fire.

Police said that one civilian was killed and six others including two security personnel were injured after the attackers fired at Phougakchao Ikhai, Kangvai, Heikol and Terakhongsangbi areas.


A villager, who sustained splinter injuries on Tuesday following the firing by armed attackers at Heikol and Phougakchao Ikhai areas succumbed to his injuries on Friday.

The attackers set ablaze six houses at Phougakchao Ikhai Maning Leikai in Bishnupur district.
