Manipur: 67 weapons, 27 AK rifles seized; four UNLF(P) cadres arrested in joint operation

Manipur Police, along with Assam Rifles and CRPF, recovered 67 arms in major anti-militancy operations. The recovery includes 27 AK-series rifles, 11 US-made rifles, and large quantities of ammunition and explosives. Four cadres of the United National Liberation Front (Pambei faction) (UNLF-P) were arrested during operations in Imphal West. Acting on intelligence inputs, police launched an operation in Lamshang area targeting illegal arms sales. A brief exchange of fire occurred after associates of the militants opened fire on security forces.
