West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed hope that Indian Foreign Secretary visiting Bangladshesh becomes successful in his diplomacy and she expects peace to return."We expect the diplomacy to be successful and expect peace to return. The foreign secretary will hold meetings in Bangladesh," she said.

She gave a strong message to former army men of Bangladesh who dared India about capturing Bengal, Bihar and Odisha.

She dared them and said, " Those who are saying this does not have strength. We qre consciousness citizens and we are patient as well."

She urged all not to step into any provocation.

"You will capture us and do you think we will eat lollipops? She said.

Yesterday, former army men from Bangladesh have spoken about capturing these three Indian states.

She pointed out that Bangladesh and India's politics are different. Indian Constitution respects secularism and democracy, she added

Talking about central government's policies, Banerjee said, "We don't belong to any sides. Many poor people are stopped at the border by BSF. They are unable to enter our country. But people with money are coming by flight.from Bangladesh while only poor people are suffering. However we will not comment about the central policies."

"We never interfere in Government of India policies but follow central guidelines.

She urged all political parties not to stoke religious sentiments and urged all to stay away from riots and maintain communal harmony.

Emphasizing on secularism, the Bengal CM said, "Hindus, muslims or any other communities do not engage in riots It is the anti-socials who get engaged in riots," she said.

"Hindus and Imams in Bengal are protesting against atrocities against the Hindus," Banerjee said adding we are the first state to protest together against this.

"We urge people to stay away from divisive politics. Everyone has right to their own religion," she said.
