Kochi police are on a search operation to locate actor Siddique after the Kerala High Court denied his anticipatory bail plea in connection with a high-profile actress molestation case. Following the court's decision, authorities fear Siddique may flee the country, prompting them to issue a lookout notice at airports.

Kerala Police Search Intensifies

Police officials have confirmed there are no legal hurdles to Siddique's arrest, and efforts are underway to trace his whereabouts. Crime Branch chief has directed Kochi police to arrest the actor immediately. Despite surveillance on his two houses in Kochi, Siddique remains untraceable. According to Manorama News, his mobile phones have been switched off, and investigators believe he may have gone into hiding.

Siddique's son was seen visiting Raman Pillai Associates, a prominent legal firm, indicating a possible move to file a petition in the Supreme Court. Both Siddique’s Aluva and Padamughal residences are under close watch by police. His phone was last traced to the Palarivattom area before it became inactive.

The High Court's ruling came after investigators presented fresh evidence and witness testimonies, further implicating Siddique. Justice CS Dias, who delivered the verdict, expressed dissatisfaction with the defense's arguments. The court found the complainant's statements credible and supported by strong evidence.

Siddique's Defense Arguments Rejected

Siddique's defense team, led by senior advocate B Raman Pillai, argued the charges were fabricated and pointed out that the initial complaint made no mention of rape. Siddique denied the allegations, claiming the case was based on a fabricated narrative. However, the court rejected his arguments after the additional public prosecutor presented proof that Siddique and the complainant were together at the Mascot Hotel in 2012, the year the alleged incident occurred.
