Malayalam actor Lena announces marriage to Gaganyaan astronaut Prasanth Nair

Shortly after Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed the names of four Indian Air Force pilots who will take part in India's first human space flight mission, Gaganyaan, Malayalam actress Lena announced her marriage to Gaganyaan pilot Captain Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair.

She shared on Instagram that she was holding off on telling him she was married to preserve her legally required identity until after this announcement.

Lena verified that on January 17, 2024, she got married to Prasanth. This signifies the actress's second marriage.

Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, and Group Captain Angad Pratap are the other selected Indian Air Force pilots in addition to Captain Prashanth Nair. The Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Russia served as the training ground for the four astronauts.
