Mumbai to resume local train services for fully vaccinated people from August 15
Maharashtra is also launching a mobile app to help fully vaccinated people to get a pass. The Chief Minister also said an offline system will be put in place to help those without smartphone access.

"Those who have taken both doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 15 days prior will be allowed to travel on these trains," Thackeray said in a live broadcast.
As of now, the trains were only open for essential service workers in the state. The relaxation will see close to 19 lakh people in the city be eligible to travel via local trains.

"The Maharashtra government is going to grant more relaxations but we are taking every step cautiously.," Thackeray added, saying that the state's COVID-19 task force will meet on Monday to make a decision on relaxations for hotels, restaurants, malls and religious places.
