Deshmukh alleges that ACP Sanjay Patil and Sachin Vaze were brought in to the service by Parambir Singh himself and were close to him.
Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has claimed that all the allegations leveled against him by former Mumbai Police Commisioner are false and a conspiracy to defame the Maha Vikas Aghadi government. Deshmukh said that he would be suing Parambir Singh for defamation.

Deshmukh questioned why Parambir was silent all this while if he came to know from his juniors that he had allegedly as the Home Minister asked for extorting money then why did Parambir stay quite for so long.

Deshmukh also questioned why after parambir did not speak up after Vaze got arrested. “ Why did Parambir Singh stay quite for so long after Vaze got arrested. Why didn’t he open his mouth then?.

Referring to the chats that have been attached by Parambir Singh with his subordinates to prove his claim that the Home Minister had demanded extortion money, Deshmukh said that the chats pertain to march 16 by which Parambir came to know that he would be shunted out and hence he had those chats as part of a conspiracy. Deshmukh alleges that ACP Sanjay Patil and Sachin Vaze were brought in to the service by Parambir Singh himself and were close to him.

Deshmukh has alleged that Parambir has done all this to save himself from ‘the explosives case, where he is going to fall in to trouble’. The Home Minister alleged that Parambir Singh is ‘trying to blackmail’ the government by making the false allegations and said that there was a conspiracy by the former Mumbai CP to divert the attention from the probe in the Antilia explosives case as well as the suspicious death of Mansukh Hiren. Deshmukh has asked Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to order an impartial inquiry in the case.
