Mahabharat actor, former WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar sent to 14-day judicial remand over alleged false marriage promise
Actor and former WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar, best known for playing Bhim in Mahabharat, has been sent to 14 days of judicial remand after Gachibowli police detained him at Mumbai Airport. The action follows a complaint by a 29-year-old woman alleging sexual exploitation on the false promise of marriage.

Police produced Gurjar before a Magistrate, who remanded him to judicial custody. The complaint was filed by a 29-year-old woman, who accused him of deceiving her after promising to marry her.

According to the complaint, the woman met Gurjar, best known for playing Bhim in the television series Mahabharat and for his role in Brahmastra, on Instagram in 2021, and they later developed a relationship. She alleged that he assured her of marriage and persuaded her to leave her job in the US to start a business together.
The woman further alleged that they lived together in the US and India, and that Gurjar later distanced himself and stopped communicating with her when she raised the issue of marriage. She also claimed that the alleged harassment affected her career.
