Magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolts Assam, Meghalaya

According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred at around 6:15 pm on October 2 and epicenter was North Garo Hills in Meghalaya. The five affected countries are - Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Bhutan, and China.

An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Assam and Meghalaya on Monday.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred at around 6:15 pm on October 2 and epicenter was North Garo Hills in Meghalaya.




The five affected countries are - Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Bhutan, and China.

There was no immediate report of any loss of life or property due to the quake.
