After the incident, Pallavi Solanki and her partner, Karan Thakur, went to the rural police station to report the collision. They admitted to killing the sub-inspector. An overnight interrogation was conducted by SP Aditya Mishra at the SDOP office, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are also exploring a possible connection to a love triangle involving Solanki, Thakur, and Gautam.
Sources reveal that SI Gautam had previously expressed concerns about his safety to his colleague, SI Subhash, fearing potential harm from Pallavi and Karan. However, Subhash arrived only after the incident had occurred.
