The Opposition protest over the deletion of 65 lakh voters during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar once again stalled the Lok Sabha proceedings even as the government passed without discussion amid the din 'The Readjustment of Representation of Scheduled Tribes in Assembly Constituencies of the State of Goa Bill, 2025' that provides for reservation for STs in the Goa assembly.

After staging a dharna against SIR outside Parliament complex, INDIA bloc MPs took protests in the House when it commenced at 11 am. Speaker Om Birla proceeded with the Question Hour with agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan trying to answer a few questions amid the Opposition sloganeering from the well. As the Opposition intensified their protest, the Speaker adjourned the House till 2 pm.

Similar scenes played out when the House reconvened. However, the chair called law minister Arjun Ram Meghwal to move for consideration and passage the Bill for STs quota in Goa assembly. After the bill was passed amid Opposition protests, Sandhya Ray, who was in the chair, adjourned the proceedings for the day.
