The Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday reserved order of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. On Wednesday, Kejriwal’s judicial custody was extended till July 3. The Enforcement Directorate had said that it had evidence of the chief minister being involved in illegal activities.

ASG SV Raju appeared for the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and submitted documents showing certain transactions done for his stay at the Grand Hyatt in Goa through Chanpreet Singh’s account.

Raju also submitted screenshots of WhatsApp chats between Kejriwal, Singh and Vinod Chauhan, claiming to have established transactions being done between the three.



The court had declined his bail on June 7 after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed its response.

The same court had earlier dismissed the interim bail plea moved by Kejriwal seeking seven days bail citing medical reasons.

While dismissing the plea, the Court directed the Tihar Jail Authorities to conduct all required medical tests and avail treatment The court had also extended the Judicial Custody of him till June 19, which was further extended to July 3.

Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 in connection to the alleged excise policy irregularities. He was granted an interim bail on May 10 for campaigning in the Lok Sabha elections till June 2 after which he surrendered.
