Laser light show illuminates Dehradun clock tower with Lord Ram's pictures ahead of Ayodhya Ram Mandir's inauguration

Ahead of the much-anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram mandir in Ayodhya, images of Lord Ram illuminated the clock tower in Dehradun on Wednesday night. A video shared by news agency ANI showcased various projections on the clock tower, captivating the attention of passersby on a busy road.

Set to occur on January 22, the consecration ceremony at the sacred city of Ayodhya will witness Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest. The seven-day Vedic rituals (Pran Pratishtha) commenced on Tuesday, with the idol of Ram Lalla being ushered into the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram mandir on Wednesday, as confirmed by Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee chairperson Nripendra Mishra.



As preparations intensify for the grand event, several significant rituals, including Teerth Poojan, Jal Yatra, and Gandhadhivas, are scheduled for Thursday. The fourth day of Pran Pratishtha will feature morning rituals such as Aushadhadhivas, Kesaradhivas, and Ghritadhivas, followed by the Dhanyadhivas ritual in the evening.

The subsequent days will witness the observance of Sharkaradhivas and Phaladhivas rituals on Saturday morning, with the Pushpadhivas ritual slated for the evening. Concluding the Pran Pratishtha event on Sunday, the day before the consecration ceremony, the morning will witness the Madhyadhivas ritual, while the Shaiyadhivas will unfold in the evening.

Highlighting the significance of these rituals, Nripendra Mishra emphasized, "According to the Trust, the consecration ceremony will commence at 12:20 pm on January 22 and is expected to conclude by 1 pm." Notably, 12 'acharyas' are overseeing the intricate rituals that contribute to the spiritual significance of this historic event.
