Ladakh: Massive LAB, KDA Protests Resume a Day After Sonam Wangchuk’s Release
Protests have resumed in Ladakh as the Leh Apex Body and Kargil Democratic Alliance staged a demonstration a day after activist Sonam Wangchuk was released from detention. The groups are pushing their four-point agenda, including restoration of statehood, inclusion under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution of India, job protection for local youth, and safeguards for Ladakh’s identity.
